Jackson von Waldhaus is a handsome and athletic 3 year old black and tan German Shepherd.  After initially being rescued from the shelter when he was only 1 year old, he lost his current home through no fault of his own.  His owner became so ill that he could no longer care for him.  Jackson is very energetic and agile and requires significant daily exercise and stimulation to keep both his mind and body in good shape. He is a well built guy, strong and muscular, and has had some training. Jackson does well with other dogs. Jackson’s claim to fame is he can go up ladders and go down a slide. An experienced shepherd owner is a must to channel his dominant behavior in a positive direction.  The rewards will be well worth the effort!  (Jackson would like us to mention that he really likes bologna sandwiches for breakfast.)
